Born from the desire to give Abidjan an alternative electronic scene, we make tribal, progressive and hypnotic sounds resonate in unexpected, raw places, often in the heart of nature or in the city center. Each night is an immersive experience, a break from the everyday where music becomes ritual.
Our vision
We believe that music is a force that brings together and transcends. Kamayakoi is the desire to build a scene that reflects Abidjan's energy: wild, free, vibrant. We seek to connect cultures, to create bridges between Africa and the rest of the world through techno, house and all their variations.
Our nights
With the Rendez-Vous Sauvages and our exclusive small-capacity events, we offer unique experiences, sometimes secret, always intense. Behind each line-up, there's a will: to showcase local artists alongside international guests, and to bring out a sound identity unique to our city.
The artists
Kamayakoi is also a family of artists. DJs, producers, performers and dancers come together to experiment and share. Each brings their color, their energy, and together we create a musical and visual signature that didn't exist yet in Ivory Coast.
What we're building
Beyond the nights, Kamayakoi is a global cultural project:
